Our products have been designed as the Windows Explorer extensions, and
can also work with any file manager that supports Explorer extensions.
Is my file manager compatible?
You can easily test it. First install one of our products:
Support for Explorer extensions
Select any file or folder in the file manager window and then click the
right mouse button. If your file manager supports Explorer extensions, it
will show a vertical menu, and you will see 'Encrypt' or
'Encrypt to EXE' command somewhere near the top of the menu
(see the screenshot).
Support for Windows drag-and-drop
Select any file or folder in your file manager window, and drag it to
the Kryptel or Silver Key desktop icon, as the
screenshot illustrates.
If the program starts and asks for a password, then your file manager
supports the Windows drag-and-drop, and you will be able to encrypt objects
dragging them to the program icon.
My file manager has failed all the tests!
You still can use our products! Run the Windows Explorer, and encrypt
your files or folders dragging them to the program icon, or using
the right-click menu.
What file managers are compatible?
Unfortunately many file managers don't implement correctly interface
with Windows Explorer extensions. We recommend Windows Commander - an
excellent program which fully supports integration.

Total Commander - A Shareware file manager for Windows® 95/98, Windows NT®, and Windows® 3.1.

With the Kryptel add-on
installed,
